Roofing across South Utah County and Juab.

Your roofing company for south Utah County and Juab
The southern end of the corridor runs from the benches below the Wasatch at Mapleton and Springville, down through Salem, Payson, and Santaquin, across the Utah County line into the Juab Valley, and on to Nephi and Levan. Soleo Home replaces roofs across all of it. We lead with full roof replacement, storm and insurance restoration, and solar detach and reset, and we treat these communities as part of our regular route rather than a corner of the map we skip.
This is a wide, varied stretch of country, from high foothill towns up against Loafer Mountain to open-valley farming communities out toward the lake and down the Juab Valley. What the homes here share is distance from most of the valley’s roofers, which is exactly why a company that actually covers the area matters. The same owner-run team inspects, replaces, and stands behind every roof we touch, whether it is in Springville or down in Nephi.
The communities we cover
We serve the full south end of the corridor across two counties. In southern Utah County, that means Mapleton, Springville, Salem, Payson, Santaquin, Cedar Hills, Elk Ridge, Woodland Hills, Genola, Cedar Fort, Fairfield, and Goshen. Across the line in Juab County, we cover Mona, Nephi, and Levan. The city of Spanish Fork anchors this region and has its own dedicated page. If your community is on this list, it sits squarely inside our coverage, and if you do not see it, reach out and ask, because it is almost certainly in our range.
Bench snow, canyon wind, and open-valley exposure
This region covers enough ground that the weather changes with the terrain, and each type is hard on a roof in its own way:
- Heavy bench snow. The high foothill communities, Woodland Hills, Elk Ridge, and the Mapleton and Springville benches below Loafer Mountain, carry some of the heaviest design snow loads in the region, with real ice-dam risk at the eaves. You can check the design snow load for a specific address with Utah State University’s Utah ground snow load tool.
- Canyon wind. Payson Canyon, Santaquin, and the Spanish Fork Canyon mouth all funnel strong wind onto the valley, which lifts shingles and breaks their seals. We nail every roof to the high-wind pattern.
- Open-valley wind and sun. Out in Goshen, Genola, and across the Juab Valley toward Nephi and Levan, homes sit on open ground that takes sustained wind and intense high-altitude sun, both of which age asphalt quickly.
Because of the snow, Utah’s statewide building code, the 2021 International Residential Code, requires a self-adhering ice-and-water barrier at the eaves. We install it on every replacement across the region.
Our roofing services across the region
Every home in south Utah County and Juab gets the same full range of roofing work:
- Full roof replacement, tear-off to clean install, built for bench snow and canyon wind.
- Asphalt shingle roofing in architectural and Class 4 impact-rated systems.
- Insurance and storm restoration, where we work your hail or wind claim and never charge over the approved amount.
- Solar detach and reset for homes that need a re-roof under an existing array.
- Free same-day inspections with an honest repair-or-replace answer.
Permits across two counties
A roof replacement requires a building permit, and in this region the permit comes from the city or county your home sits in. The incorporated cities, such as Springville, Mapleton, Salem, Payson, and Santaquin, each issue their own permits through their building divisions. For unincorporated southern Utah County, permits run through Utah County Community Development. Across the line, homes in Mona, Nephi, and Levan are permitted through Juab County or the Nephi City Building Department. We pull the correct permit and schedule the required inspection as part of your project, so you never have to navigate two different counties’ processes on your own.
Why a local roofer is worth the drive
The communities at the south end of the corridor often get skipped by the valley’s busier roofers or served only by crews passing through after a storm. Soleo Home is different: owner-run, based in Pleasant Grove, and committed to covering the whole corridor, Nephi and Levan included, on a regular route rather than as a one-off. Our full footprint is on our Utah County roofing page.
How we work, start to finish
Every project across the region follows the same clear steps:
- Inspect the roof for free, same-day when you need it.
- Document the condition with photos, which matters most for a storm claim.
- Insurance, where we prepare and work the claim alongside you.
- Install a clean, code-compliant replacement by a crew that does this every week.
- Follow up after the job, because we want to be your roofer for the next project too.
Financing a roof replacement in south Utah County
A new roof is a significant expense, and families in these communities do not always have it sitting in the budget. If you are paying out of pocket rather than through an insurance claim, we offer 0% financing for 24 months, which turns a large one-time cost into a manageable monthly payment. When a storm claim is covering the replacement, financing can also help you spread out your deductible. We explain the options plainly, with no pressure to finance.
What to expect during your roof replacement
Once you decide to move forward, a typical single-family replacement in the region is a one to two day job once materials are on site, weather permitting. Our crew protects your landscaping, siding, and windows before the tear-off begins, replaces any damaged decking as it is uncovered, installs the full system including the code-required ice-and-water barrier, and runs a magnetic sweep for stray nails before leaving each day. On the high benches we pay extra attention to the eaves and ventilation, and in the wind-exposed communities we focus on edge and starter fastening.
One local team for your whole home
Soleo Home is a roofing-led, whole-home company with roots in solar, and that matters for families across south Utah County and Juab who are in their homes for the long haul. Once we have earned your trust on the roof, the same team can take care of gutters, siding, solar, and more, as one ongoing relationship instead of a new contractor hunt every time. For communities used to being an afterthought for the valley’s roofers, one local, accountable team that actually shows up is the real difference.
South Utah County and Juab roofing questions
Which communities does Soleo Home serve in this region?
In southern Utah County: Mapleton, Springville, Salem, Payson, Santaquin, Cedar Hills, Elk Ridge, Woodland Hills, Genola, Cedar Fort, Fairfield, and Goshen. In Juab County: Mona, Nephi, and Levan. Spanish Fork anchors the region and has its own page.
Do you really drive all the way to Nephi and Levan?
Yes. We cover the full corridor down into the Juab Valley, Nephi and Levan included, on a regular route rather than only after a storm. We still offer free inspections and stand behind the work the same way we do closer to home.
How do permits work if I live in Juab County instead of Utah County?
The permit comes from your own city or county. Springville, Mapleton, Salem, Payson, and Santaquin each issue their own; unincorporated southern Utah County goes through Utah County Community Development; and Mona, Nephi, and Levan are permitted through Juab County or the Nephi City Building Department. We pull the correct one for you.
Do the high bench towns like Woodland Hills and Elk Ridge need special roofing?
They do. Those foothill communities carry heavier snow loads and real ice-dam risk, so the ice-and-water barrier, ventilation, and eave detailing matter more there. We build to the snow load for your specific elevation.
Do you repair roofs or only replace them?
We focus on full replacement, which is where we do our best and most durable work. If a targeted repair is genuinely the right call, we will tell you that honestly during a free inspection.
